Senior Business Development Manager, Marketplace Belgium

About the role:
As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will develop and implement a 2-3 year strategy for the Belgium marketplace, working closely with the country management team to achieve a market leading position.
About your tasks:
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure that objectives, assumptions, resource needs, and dependencies are aligned with functional management, the CMT, and Product Teams.
- P&L Excellence: Overachieve the overall P&L targets for the Belgium marketplace.
- Business Strategy: Develop and superordinate the steering of our business strategy, driving us towards new horizons.
- Performance Management: Control and monitor sales and profitability to ensure we meet our defined targets, including regular forecasts of sales/revenues and marketing costs.
- Key Project Leadership: Lead interdisciplinary key projects and key initiatives for the marketplace department, aligning with strategic initiatives and priorities of other departments.
About you:
- Proven Leader: You bring a wealth of experience in senior commercial roles, growing the Belgium market, ideally in fast-growing industries like E-commerce or Marketplace.
- Financial Maven: You have a track record of successfully managing P&L responsibilities.
- Digital Savvy: You understand digital business models and ideally have experience in market entries and business development.
- KPI-Driven: You're adept at using insights and KPIs to strengthen market positions and drive growth.
- Language Proficiency: You have an excellent command of English and Dutch or French, allowing you to navigate diverse environments with ease.
