Industrial Network Administrator

We're seeking an experienced Industrial Network Administrator for our PET-Anlagen in Schkopau, near Halle/Merseburg. In this role, you'll be responsible for the management and administration of our ICS network. You'll work closely with our process automation engineers to secure and develop our network infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and managing our network infrastructure (hardware, firewalls, and domain systems).
• Managing and maintaining third-party servers and workstations.
• Storage management and integrating new systems into our existing ICSN.
• Physical monitoring of all ICSN locations and user management.
• Supporting our Cyber Security Management System for ICS.
• Maintaining documentation, including design documents.
• Debugging and troubleshooting, as well as first-level application support for third-party systems.

Requirements for this role include:

• A successful completion of a vocational training as a computer scientist with several years of experience and additional qualifications (at least Cisco Certified Network Associate), or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in industrial network/ control systems.
• A solid understanding of network technologies and SQL databases.
• Experience with Cisco network technology, network infrastructure, and administration.
• Abstract thinking and very good analytical skills.
• Good German and technical English language skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Knowledge of server virtualization and storage technologies such as VMware, Veeam, or Acronis.
• Ideal knowledge in the field of Process Control Systems and Networks, preferably in Honeywell control systems.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional.
