Network Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our team at Dow OLEFINVERBUND GmbH in Schkopau, Germany. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of our industrial control system (ICS) network.

• Monitor and manage the ICS network infrastructure, including hardware, firewalls, and domain systems.
• Manage and maintain third-party servers and workstations.
• Implement and maintain storage management and integrate new systems into the existing ICS network.
• Perform physical monitoring of all ICS network locations and manage user access.
• Support the Cyber Security Management System for ICS.
• Maintain documentation, including design documents.
• Investigate and resolve issues, as well as provide first-level application support for third-party systems.

• Completed vocational training as a computer scientist with several years of experience and additional qualifications (at least Cisco Certified Network Associate), or a bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in industrial network/ control system technology.
• Good understanding of network technologies and SQL databases.
• Experience with Cisco network technology, network infrastructure, and administration.
• Abstract thinking and very good analytical skills.
• Good German and professional English skills.

• Knowledge of server virtualization and storage technologies such as VMware, Veeam, or Acronis.
• Knowledge of process control systems and networks, preferably in the Honeywell control system area.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional.
