Our **Automotive Adhesives & Fluids Production Plant in Schkopau, Germany **(Saxony-Anhalt) currently has an exciting opportunity as **Site PSM & Process Improvement Leader (m/w/d).**

**Job description**

**Duties include but are not limited to the following**:

- Develops, leads, manages and implements initiatives or projects to drive ongoing improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
- Oversees the implementation of digital business initiatives to ensure revenue growth and/or productivity savings.
- Manages the change process by ensuring the achievement of projects to time, cost and specification requirements.
- May be involved in the development of multi-year strategies for complex initiatives or business areas, including product launches, new plant site openings, and integrated operations planning, among others.
- May use specialized tools and methodologies (e.g., Operational Excellence, Lean Business, Six Sigma) to develop, implement and sustain process improvement initiatives and ensure team collaboration, issue tracking and effective project management.
- May have or be working toward a Six Sigma certification (e.g., Master Black Belt, Black Belt).
- Responsible to ensure adequate basic data is created for CapEx projects and provides resourcing support (e.g. development and/or Plans for Commissioning, Decommissioning, Start-Up and Shut Down)
- Supports key PSM Technology Elements as needed (Process Technology, PHA, Management of Change-Technology)
- Supports the startup and qualification of new equipment.
- Networks and leverages the broader organization (Leveraged Engineering Resources, Quality, R&D, Marketing, etc.)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Engineering or chemistry degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong technical, analytical, and functional skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving/analytical ability.
- Experience and knowledge in the manufacture of oriented film
- extrusion, conveyance, and distillation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemical processes and methodologies applicable to a manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of chemical manufacturing unit operations.
- Proven ability to drive timely and highly effective results while positively influencing others.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot chemical processes.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects.
- Ability to positively influence others through high personal standards and operating discipline.
