Estimated Salary: €85,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
HSE Manager Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled HSE Manager to develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental management strategies across our projects. As part of our team, you will assist company functions and project teams in addressing Health, Safety, and Environment-related issues with clients, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, client requirements, international standards, and company Environmental and Safety Standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE management strategies and activities throughout the project lifecycle, from proposal phase to project execution/completion.
- Collaborate closely with company functions and project teams to address Health, Safety, and Environment-related matters with clients, promoting a culture of safety excellence.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, client specifications, and internal policies regarding Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Cultivate strong relationships with manufacturing HSE teams to guarantee alignment with company policies and project demands.
- Oversee that vessel operations comply with ISM Code rules, SOLAS, and MARPOL.
- Support project teams in the Risk Management process (i.e., HAZID, HAZOP).
- Conduct thorough investigations into accidents/incidents and analyze accident/incident statistics to drive improvement initiatives.
- Leverage expertise to design and deliver high-quality project safety training programs.
- Lead the development, collection, management, and analysis of key HSE indicators.
Requirements:
Key Qualifications:
- Completed technical studies, preferably in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering.
- Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (Zertifizierte Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) with significant experience in implementing safety measures.
- No less than 5 years of relevant professional experience in occupational safety and health protection within an EPCI work environment.
- Proven track record as an auditor for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Advanced English language skills and native-level proficiency in German (C1 level or higher).
- Excellent MS Office skills.
