Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented working student to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a working student, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the simulation of a 3-phase hybrid inverter system using PLECS and MATLAB
  • Investigate and understand the impact of different filter designs on system behavior
  • Conduct a THD study on different control algorithms and switching frequencies
  • Support the system simulation activities within the system application teams
  • Create communication material, process concepts, and prepare data visualizations
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master studies in a business, informatics, engineering degree or similar
  • Experience in modeling product and system performance and behavior using MATLAB Simulink, PLECS or similar
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Power Point
  • Strong ability to structure complex processes, organizations, and interdependencies
  • Fluent English language skills

Important information:

  • Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled, and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
  • You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
