Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Health Manager to join our team at GEODIS. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our Health and Safety Policy across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain occupational health and safety risk maps in collaboration with Country H&S Responsibles.
  • Coordinate the implementation of risk prevention and management policies, as well as accident and crisis management processes.
  • Define concrete action plans with the spirit of continuous improvement and ensure their timely completion by countries.
  • Propose KPIs to Regional Management and track those KPIs, presenting the performance of the Region to Management at both regional and group levels.
  • Coordinate certification processes decided by Group and Region.
  • Develop and coach all leaders/employees in the Region to be flag carriers of health and safety rules.
  • Search for better practices through H&S Network.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with an engineering background being a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the above-described tasks, preferably in the logistics industry.
  • Knowledge or experience with standards like ISO 45001 is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Passion to manage and resolve challenges and boost transformation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and expertise in communicating with diverse backgrounds of people.
  • Strong passion to be an advocate for health and safety rules.
  • Fluency in English and German, with Italian being considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
