Your Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on electrical components of offshore substations and transition pieces.
- You will conduct inspections and measurements on lightning protection systems of offshore substations.
- You will inspect and test electrical systems and equipment in accordance with VDE 0105/DGUV V3 standards.
- You will organize and prepare for offshore operations, including planning and coordination.
- You will perform troubleshooting and repair tasks to ensure safe operation of electrical systems.
- You will document offshore operations and identify areas for improvement.
- You will analyze faults and develop recommendations for corrective action.
- You will assist in the commissioning of offshore wind farms and perform initial inspections.
- You will develop and maintain technical documentation, including working instructions and risk assessments.
Your Profile
- You have a technical background and a degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- You have experience in electrical maintenance and repair, with a focus on offshore wind energy.
- You have knowledge of lightning protection systems and their maintenance.
- You have experience with battery systems and their maintenance.
- You have a good understanding of electrical distribution systems, including substations and switchgear.
- You have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- You have a valid driver's license and are able to travel frequently.
- You have a good understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
