Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team as a wind turbine engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical planning and implementation of offshore wind projects, working closely with our team to ensure the successful execution of these projects.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the development, planning, and implementation of offshore wind projects
- Manage technical work packages, from contract negotiations to execution of wind turbine supply contracts
- Schedule, budget control, and interdisciplinary coordination of the team
- Manage the schedule for the work package in accordance with the overall project schedule
- Ensure health and safety regulations are considered in all phases of the project
- Implement technical due diligence processes for offshore wind
- Participate in the identification and management of technical risks, issues, and impacts of the project
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, processes, and concepts
- Ensure compliance with approval and certification requirements
- Assist in ensuring contractual conformity of technical documentation
- Accompany the execution work and implementation of acceptances, if necessary
- Degree in electrical engineering, wind energy technology, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable training
- At least 3 years of experience, preferably in a responsible project management position in infrastructure or energy projects
- Profound technical knowledge of large electrical/mechanical systems
- Team player mentality, strong communication and organizational skills
- Confident, polite, and professionally competent demeanor
- Familiarity with the state of the art and knowledge of the market
- Reliable, structured way of working and process-oriented thinking
- Willingness to travel and work offshore, if required
- Fluent German and English, complete knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
