Capital Expenditure Manager

- Oversee the commercial management of Sky DE's Capex process, collaborating closely with specialist departments to drive strategic decision-making.
- Identify and implement optimization opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain a reporting system to provide transparent insights into Capex performance, supporting operational management in identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
- Design and deliver target/actual and ad hoc analyses to inform business decisions, focusing on financial performance and future growth prospects.
- Play a pivotal role in preparing the budget and intra-year forecasts of Capex cash, as well as variance analyses to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Cultivate a strong partnership with the accounting department to deliver accurate and timely financial statements, including annual and monthly reports.
- Drive business-relevant KPI development for commercial management, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Act as a central interface for Sky DE Capex, fostering collaboration and open communication among stakeholders, including the accounting department and Group teams.
- A degree in economics or a related field and 2-4 years of experience in controlling or auditing.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and independent working style, with a passion for working with numbers.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
- Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint, with additional skills in other tools and knowledge a plus.
- Good English skills, with German proficiency an asset.
