Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop data models with ETL pipelines and architectures to support operational business lines in the COO area and meet data analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop data models that meet those requirements.
- Define and document data standards, policies, and governance processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in operational business lines.
- Manage the entire data lifecycle, including data modeling, database design, data integration, data quality, and data security.
- Ensure data architectures and models are scalable, maintainable, and extensible to support current and future portfolio needs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team to ensure correct implementation of data architectures and models.
- Ensure adherence to Uniper's data governance framework in the COO area.
- Contribute to the development of Uniper's data capabilities through input and recommendations.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and preferably as a Senior Data Architect in a fast-paced and complex business setting.
- Demonstrated experience building and developing ETL pipelines, dimensional data models, and data warehouse solutions.
- Microsoft MCP Solution Architect, Snowpro Core certification, Snowpro Advanced Architect.
- Skills in database design, data integration, data architecture, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Python, Azure Data Factory, and experience with Talend jobs and batch accounts.
- Understanding of A/B testing and knowledge of key metrics that measure and drive long-term business health.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling at both conceptual and physical levels, using tools like Oracle Modeler.
- Data analytics and data science skills, including experience with Python (pandas, scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow).
- Hardworking, persistent, dependable, and able to empower others to reach higher standards.
- Business fluency in English, with other languages advantageous.
