Localization Program Manager

HelloFresh is seeking a skilled Localization Program Manager to lead our UX localization efforts. As a key member of our dynamic Localization team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing localization strategies that ensure our products resonate with global audiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute localization strategies aligned with our global product roadmap, ensuring high-quality, culturally relevant translations.
- Oversee the entire localization process, from content translation and adaptation to quality assurance, using TMS tools like Lokalise and Jira to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX writers, product managers, engineers, and designers, to ensure localization is considered early in the development process.
- Manage relationships with translators and translation agencies, ensuring that the appropriate expertise is applied to each project.
- Optimize and refine existing workflows to improve efficiency and maintain high editorial standards across all languages.
- Experience leading localization programs in a tech company, ideally consumer products.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in using Jira and localization tools like Lokalise.
- Proven experience managing relationships with translators and translation agencies.
- Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of cultural adaptation and best practices in localization.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with fluency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
