Quantitative Analyst

RWE Supply & Trading GmbH
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of commercial business cases for Renewables and Hydrogen asset portfolios, including Wind, Solar, and commodity contract portfolios for markets like US or Australia.
- Assist in the development of financial valuation frameworks for these assets and contract portfolios.
- Contribute to the entire framework design process, including acquisition, data analytics, model selection and calibration, product valuation and management, as well as the visualisation and communication of results.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in mathematics, physics, natural sciences, IT, or economics with a focus on finance.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills are essential.
- Programming skills in R or Python and SQL are preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a result-oriented team environment.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Desirable Skills
- Practical experience with financial markets and/or familiarity with energy commodity markets.
