Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team at E Energy Markets GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating risks associated with trade activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of new products and transactions to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of compliance processes into business operations.
  • Provide expert advice on trade compliance matters to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure our organization remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements
  • University degree in a quantitative/financial/information technology or risk management discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments, commodity markets, and energy economics.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience in data modeling and data engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive and agile approach to work, with a drive to learn and make continuous improvements.
