Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Test Engineer to join our Laboratory Testing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and conducting various tests on the aircraft's structures and components to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and execute structural tests to validate the performance and safety of aerospace components and systems
  • Develop test plans, procedures, and protocols for both static and dynamic structural tests, ensuring they align with project objectives and industry standards
  • Identify and document test results and deviations
  • Develop test plans and instrument test articles to capture required test data and response
  • Set up, configure, and validate test equipment before each test execution
  • Analyze test data to assess the structural performance, stress, and stiffness of components, making recommendations for improvements and refinements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of work experience with systems test benches or laboratories
  • 5+ years of work experience with Aircraft systems (Structures, Flight Controls, Electric Propulsion, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with Requirements Engineering
  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as NX
  • Very good knowledge of the English language
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Experience communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Skills

  • Solid knowledge in data acquisition systems and instrumentation (strain gages, accelerometers, displacement sensors, etc.)
