Electrical Design Engineer for Advanced Power Semiconductors

Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join our power module team as an Electrical Design Engineer for Advanced Power Semiconductors. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for defining electrical design technology roadmaps for SiC power modules and collaborating with colleagues to complete pre-research on advanced packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Track industry technology trends and define electrical design technology roadmaps for SiC power modules;
- Cooperate with team members to complete the pre-research of advanced packaging solutions (electrical design aspect) and organize electrical technical cooperation with universities and research institutes;
- Responsible for SiC power module electrical design, simulation, and verification of power module packaging, and develop advanced electrical design techniques with strong competitiveness in the industry;
- Responsible for investigating and dynamically tracking forward-looking technologies of power semiconductor packaging (electrical design aspect);
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- More than 8 years of experience in electrical development or technology research and development of power semiconductor packaging;
- Familiarity with the overall situation of the semiconductor packaging industry and good interpersonal relationships in the industry;
- A solid theoretical foundation for the microstructure, basic working principles, common failure modes, and power electronic circuits of power semiconductor devices such as Si, SiC, and GaN;
- Mastering SiC power module electrical design tools (such as Q3D, Pspice, Siwave, etc.);
- Good command of English written and oral communication skills;
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
