Back Office Operations Manager

About the Role:
The Back Office Operations Manager will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager to provide administrative and organizational assistance to the sales team, handle customer contracts as well as compliance, and to lead the Sales Backoffice Team of 14 associates. This position is responsible for heading the Sales Support and Administration department and will be on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Sales Support and Administration department with 14 employees and develop a high-performance team (incl. effective change management).
- Customer contract management & compliance as well as profitability assessments.
- Management of product lines, order fulfillment and training of customers in using devices.
- Communicate with vendors and customers and arrange for third-party inspections.
- Tender management, billing execution from invoice to disputed resolution.
- Drive change processes for compliance and efficiency gains utilizing our continuous improvement tools.
- Inventory management.
Requirements:
- Substantial experience within a complex matrix organization in a high-technology and medical product/service sector.
- In-depth understanding of sales and sales support concepts.
- Experience in managing and developing professional associates.
- A high degree of independence.
- Customer-oriented way of thinking and acting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics or any other relevant education.
- Fluent in English and German.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Guiding and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Display a willingness to do whatever it takes to 'get it done' and holds self-accountable for assigned work.
