Warehouse Operations Director

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehouse team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Implement and maintain best practices in inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Manage and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of warehouse operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with logistics and transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse-related data.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a logistics or warehouse management role.
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures, software databases, and best practices.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs, objectives, and key results.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Understanding of the overall nature of the business and the interdependencies between own and other functions.
