DACH Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our DACH team. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide expert legal advice and support to our business units, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support to business units on contract law, construction law, and digitalization/IP law.
- Independently propose practical solutions to minimize legal risks and initiate improvements.
- Conduct training for employees on legal matters.
- Accompany and coordinate disputes and court proceedings in cooperation with external lawyers.
- Work closely with the European and global legal team and other functions of a worldwide matrix organization on strategic initiatives, transformation processes, and cross-regional issues.
Requirements:
- Qualified German lawyer (1st and 2nd state examinations); additional foreign studies (e.g. LL.M.) are an advantage.
- Several years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in an international industrial company and, ideally, in an international commercial law firm.
- Legal generalist with business acumen and a strong understanding of project business, international matrix structures, process, and business workflows of an international company.
- Strong knowledge of contract, IP, and software law.
- Ability, interest, and willingness to act as a business partner to quickly and efficiently find pragmatic, business-oriented solutions and to assume responsibility for the success of the company - even outside traditional legal areas.
- Excellent communication skills and cooperative working style.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills very advantageous.
- Experience in commercial contract and claim management as well as legal tech solutions advantageous.
