Computer Graphics Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the University of Bremen. The successful candidate will be working on an interdisciplinary project focused on extracting information from scanned artworks and visualizing them to gain further insights into art forms.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with art historians to define representations, structures, and similarity measures for scanned artworks.
- Develop software tools for art historians to classify rocaille ornaments, establish chains of evolutions of designs, and distinguish between different authors.
- Apply machine learning, computer vision, graph algorithms, and geometric computing to solve challenging problems in computer science.
Candidates should have a Master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field. Required skills include solid programming experience, good command of English, and knowledge of machine learning and computer vision.
