Freight Sales and Chartering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Sales and Chartering Specialist to join our team at GSIA. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for selling physical freight and chartering services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive sales growth and revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, freight forwarders, and brokers
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Manage and coordinate commercial transactions with internal stakeholders
- Take financial responsibility for fixtures and voyage execution
- Optimize voyage efficiency and report results
- Participate in collecting and sharing freight market information across the global commercial team
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in MPP/Project cargo or Dry Cargo Physical Freight and Chartering
- Good knowledge of special in Pacific dry bulk trades or MPP/Project cargo
- Dynamic and ambitious team player with a proven track record in physical dry cargo physical freight trading and chartering
- Able to work independently and comfortable taking commercial risks within given parameters and authority
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- English language proficiency is essential
