We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance and Immigration Manager to join our team at GUS Germany GmbH. As a key member of our International Affairs Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the provision of visa support to all registered students and compliance with all necessary visa regulations as per German law.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about immigration and compliance. If you have a strong background in customer service, administrative experience, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Manage BSBI's existing partnership with SERS-RA GmbH, providing immigration support services to students, and provide administrative support.
- Correspond with German authorities and liaise with German embassies abroad upon request.
- Direct line management of Visa and Compliance/International Affairs Officers.
- Drive the development of BSBI's visa support services and create the strategy needed to meet its objectives.
- Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date overview of students' visa status to monitor compliance and ensure no student breaches visa regulations, taking action where needed.
- Report students who have not complied with visa regulations, have been withdrawn from BSBI, or received a visa to Germany but never formally registered with the college to the Berlin visa authorities.
- Attention to detail is a must in this position.
- Previous work experience in an administrative position.
- Previous work experience in customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent language skills in English.
- Native or near-native level of German.
