Client Management Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Management Officer to join our team in Frankfurt am Main. As a key member of our Coverage Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored solutions to our clients across the full product suite.
Key Responsibilities- Support Senior Bankers and Relationship Managers in their daily tasks, liaising with product lines and following up on client activities.
- Prepare pitch books, special sector studies, and updates on industry, client-specific developments, and market events as needed.
- Conduct profitability analysis (advanced Excel modeling) for prospective transactions.
- Originate short- and long-term loans and credit facilities for corporate clients, including review of documentation with legal, risk, and back-office teams.
- Write internal reports on client relationships for senior management.
- Collect corporate finance data on individual clients or industrial sectors.
- Follow up with business line product specialists on specific client initiatives.
- Track live deals and pitch communication for current and prospective clients worldwide.
- Handle associated Due Diligence tasks and implement new clients in SG's database (Know Your Customer process).
- Perform yearly budget, periodic income forecast, and income correction campaigns on the portfolio.
- Master's degree in Business or Economics with a specialization in Finance.
- Previous experience in investment banking, accounting, or consulting.
- Strong understanding of the German and Austrian financial environment and regulatory framework.
- Knowledge of the financial institutions industries (banks, insurance, and pension plans) is an asset.
- Fluency in English is required, and good understanding in German (oral and in writing) is required. French language skills are helpful but not necessary.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Team player with a strong personal drive and self-motivation.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately and independently, even under stress and pressure.
- Good organization and prioritization skills, as well as attention to detail.
