Client Management Officer

Join Societe Generale, one of the leading European financial services groups, as a Client Management Officer and support the Coverage Team for Germany and Austria in their day-to-day work.
About the Role:As a Client Management Officer, you will take on specific tasks working closely with our product specialists in delivering tailored solutions to our clients across the full product suite. Your primary responsibility will be to support Senior Bankers and Relationship Managers in their daily tasks, liaising with product lines, follow up on client activities, prepare research and press reviews, and perform profitability analysis for prospective transactions.

- Liaise with product lines and follow up on client activities
- Prepare research and press reviews
- Perform profitability analysis for prospective transactions
- Originate short- and long-term loans and credit facilities for corporate clients
- Write internal reports on client relationships for senior management
- Corporate Finance data gathering on individual clients or industrial sectors
- Follow up with business line product specialists on specific client initiatives
- Track live deals and pitch communication for current and prospective clients worldwide
- Handle Due Diligence tasks and implement new clients in SG's database (Know Your Customer process)
- Perform yearly budget, periodic income forecast, and income correction campaigns on the portfolio
- Graduated with a Master's degree from a Business School or University in Economics with a specialization in Finance
- Previous experience in investment banking, accounting, or consulting
- Strong understanding of the German and Austrian financial environment and regulatory framework
- Knowledge of the financial institutions industries (banks, insurance, and pension plans) would be an asset
- Fluency in English required and good understanding in German (oral and in writing) is required, French language skills would be helpful but not necessary
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Team player with a strong personal drive and self-motivation
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and independently, also when under stress and pressure
- Good organization and prioritization skills as well as attention to detail
