Your New Role

As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing, mentoring, and coaching a team of software engineers.
  • Providing resources to improve the engineers' skills.
  • Goal setting and quarterly assessment of team members.
  • Training the team according to best practices to ensure a high-quality product.
  • Working to remove obstacles blocking the engineers from achieving their objectives.
  • Setting up organization structures and processes for fast flow and scalability.
  • Facilitating the communication between engineering disciplines.
  • Together with the Product Owner and Tech Lead, defining and driving initiatives for long-term improvements within the team.
  • Human Resource Management-related tasks, such as recruitment, remuneration, career planning, and long-term vacation planning.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience leading and managing engineering teams.
  • Clear communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Results-oriented with a pragmatic mindset.
  • You thrive in dynamic environments and can effectively manage shifting priorities.
  • Able to communicate technical and non-technical directions.
