Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Manitowoc. As a key member of our Supplier Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for planning and building the future of our quality management processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and organization of the Supplier Quality Assurance department, including budget planning and capacity control.
  • Supporting production and customer service in analyzing problems related to suppliers.
  • Analyzing quality data to identify key problem areas and continuously improving quality and tracking KPIs.
  • Setting up effective supplier quality management and developing suppliers in close coordination with strategic purchasing.
  • Independent complaint handling with suppliers.
  • Supporting quality management in developing its own employees, forward-looking personnel planning, and identifying talent.

Your Profile:

  • Completed technical degree in mechanical engineering or comparable technical training.
  • Practical experience in quality management or quality assurance is desirable.
  • Initial experience in employee management.
  • Confident use of MS Office and experience in the application and evaluation of ERP systems.
  • English and German language skills.
