IT Support Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team at Ascend Advanced Therapies. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch technical support to our staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Manage IT resources, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and maintain an inventory of IT assets.
  • Collaborate with the IT and Lab teams on various projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to IT.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and German (required).
