Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Analyst M&A to join our Central M&A team at Bertelsmann Investments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our M&A activities, including origination, due diligence, and post-merger integration. Your primary focus will be on developing new growth areas, including digital health, and identifying potential investment targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Bertelsmann Investments team in M&A activities, including financial modeling, valuation, and data analysis
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders, including portfolio companies' management
  • Conduct market analysis and financial analysis to identify potential investment targets
  • Lead M&A projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic transactions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modeling and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in German and English, with a strong understanding of business concepts and terminology
