Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst Mergers and Acquisitions to join our Central M&A team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our M&A activities, including origination, due diligence, and post-merger integration. Your primary focus will be on developing new growth areas, including digital health, and identifying potential investment targets.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Bertelsmann Investments team in M&A activities, including origination, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
- Develop financial models, valuation approaches, and conduct data-driven quantitative analyses to support investment decisions.
- Identify and propose new investment targets, and screen inbound deal-flow.
- Lead M&A projects in collaboration with portfolio companies' management, building and maintaining relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable degree program.
- First work experience, ideally in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or a comparable role in large organizations.
- Experience in market analysis, financial analysis, company valuation, and modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with a solution-oriented working method.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- International experience (desirable).
- Business proficiency in German and English.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
