About the Role
You'll support our shipping team in Renningen, working on a temporary, full-time basis. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing shipping orders within Germany, the EU, and third countries
- Preparing and providing documents required for shipping in collaboration with the order management team
- Export documentation and control
- Organizing internal company transport between Renningen and Teplice/Czech Republic
- Registering shipments with designated modes of transport
- Monitoring timely and proper order processing, with corrective measures as needed
- Determining shipment type, packaging, and scope in coordination with the team and supervisor
- Obtaining and evaluating offers for national/international transportation
- Acting as operational deputy to the head of department
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Completed commercial training, such as a management assistant for forwarding and logistics services
- Knowledge of third-country processes
- Experience in export control
- Experience in processing shipping orders, including spare parts, CEP, general cargo, part loads, and full loads within Germany, the EU, and third countries
- Team player with a hands-on mentality
- High degree of flexibility and reliability
- Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
