Job Title: Poland Power Market Expert

We are seeking an experienced Poland Power Market Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Power Market Advisory practice, you will provide economic, commercial, and strategic consulting services to energy companies, financial institutions, governments, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide economic, commercial, and strategic consulting services to energy companies, financial institutions, governments, and regulators.
  • Perform company and asset valuations for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Advise government entities on the costs and benefits associated with various future energy policy options.
  • Optimize portfolios ranging from fuel contracting to generation dispatch, and develop hedging strategies for vertically integrated energy operations.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of the Polish power market, encompassing market fundamentals, design, policy, regulation, and commercial structures.
  • Experience in evaluating commercial structures and assessing routes to market for power generation assets, with a focus on designing business models in energy markets.
  • Capacity to take ownership and deliver impactful results in client-facing settings.
  • Proficiency in managing projects on a day-to-day basis and overseeing inputs/outputs from the modelling team.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to collaborate and work with others to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to occasionally work in diverse market contexts and themes or support model development efforts.
  • Essential: You will have advanced (C1) language skills in Polish and English.
