About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineering Manager to lead our team in shaping the further development of our DevOps culture within AVIV. As a key member of our platform experience core team, you will be responsible for maintaining large-scale cloud solutions and managing a team of engineers in charge of it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Functional management of an international DevOps team.
  • Hiring, managing, mentoring, and coaching DevOps engineers.
  • Collaboration with architects, software, security, and QA engineers to accelerate agile team development.
  • Ensuring maximum automation and documentation in product creation using infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
  • Establishing and promoting DevOps standards and best practices within AVIV.
  • Developing new processes and further developing existing ones in close cooperation with other DevOps managers.

About You

  • Professional experience in DevOps and leading a team in an agile environment.
  • Experience working in a public cloud environment (such as AWS).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and their benefits.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in an interdisciplinary team, and appreciate agile team dynamics.
  • Solution-oriented, systematic thinking, and acting are your trademarks.
  • A passion for new challenges in a changing environment.
