About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Würth Cloud Services GmbH. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and serverless solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize our private and public cloud stacks to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and error-free deployments.
  • Collaborate with our software development teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system health and performance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work closely with our teams to understand requirements and provide solutions that align with our company's vision.
  • Monitor the performance of the stacks you contribute to and work on optimizing them for better scalability and user experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends in cloud computing and serverless architectures.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks and playbooks for incident response.
  • Participate in post-mortem analysis to drive continuous improvement across serverless architectures.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a DevOps, SysOps, or similar role, with a strong focus on cloud and serverless technologies.
  • Expertise in AWS serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and Aurora Serverless.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, or third-party solutions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong understanding of coding and scripting with Python.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with incident management processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Ability to learn on your own.
