Are you a seasoned production planner looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for optimizing production processes and driving business growth? We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Production Planner to join our dynamic team at designface GmbH.

About the Role

As a Senior Production Planner, you will play a critical role in the preparation, scheduling, and execution of production orders for our aviation clients. You will work closely with various interfaces and departments, including Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Production, to ensure seamless production planning and control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and orchestrate production schedules for multiple factories
  • Manage delivery compliance of orders outsourced to key suppliers
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop serial aircraft
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet engineering and production requirements
  • Develop capacity plans to enable forward and backward planning
  • Work with ERP and APS-Tools to ensure data integrity for today's and future IT infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain a KPI set with the Head of Factory relating to process, product, and operation performance
  • Evaluate production statistics and report major deviations
Requirements
  • Completed degree in industrial engineering or equivalent field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or similar field
  • Expertise in scheduling, planning, and controlling production processes
  • Background in manufacturing, including dynamic planning and execution during prototyping and series ramp-up
  • Experience with ERP tools, preferably INFOR
  • Proven knowledge in project management
  • Willingness to take ownership and transfer improvement ideas into reality
  • Team player with analytic problem-solving skills and high customer focus
  • Fluent English language skills
