- Formulate and execute sustainability initiatives for events and exhibitions, including workshops aimed at increasing awareness and training for staff and clients.
- Assess and analyze current processes and practices to evaluate their sustainability impacts and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement sustainable event formats and projects, ensuring the selection of eco-friendly materials and service providers.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations in the sustainability sector.
- Assist in promoting and communicating our sustainability efforts to clients and the broader community.
- A deep passion for sustainability within the event sector, along with initial experience in trade shows and events.
- Strong project management capabilities and a background in event organization.
- Knowledge of the ISO 20121 standard for sustainable event management and experience in its application.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage complex projects independently.
- Enthusiasm and the ability to engage others, both internally and externally, in the pursuit of a more sustainable industry.
- Skills in designing and facilitating workshops.
- A collaborative mindset, acting as a connector within the organization and a promoter of sustainability.
- Proficiency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
