About the Role

Crypto Finance is seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Managing Director in Germany. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for establishing and driving the growth of our German business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the IT strategy for our German operations, ensuring seamless integration with our global systems.
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive growth strategy for our German business, focusing on information technology and operational excellence.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners.
  • Oversee the implementation of audit-proven management processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure flawless operations, including internal and external activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Managing Director or deputy in a BaFin-regulated bank or financial infrastructure company, with a strong background in information technology.
  • Track record of leading companies through build-up and implementation phases, with knowledge of required IT processes and ability to establish efficient workflows.
  • Experience with complex IT projects in the regulated financial sector, with an excellent network of contacts in the industry.
  • Authentic and motivating leadership style, with transparent and direct communication, and a good sense of entrepreneurial values.
  • Proven interest in crypto assets and/or blockchain technology.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, high self-motivation, and a passion for excellence.
  • Native-level German and fluent English language skills.
