Crypto Finance Group is a leading provider of digital asset solutions, comprising two FINMA-regulated financial institutions and part of Deutsche Börse Group. Our company offers professional digital asset solutions, including 24/7 brokerage services, custody, infrastructure, and tokenisation solutions for financial institutions.

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Managing Director for our German subsidiary, Crypto Finance (Deutschland) GmbH. This role will be responsible for establishing the regulated legal entity to cover the German market and driving expansion into Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the IT strategy and operational management of the German business activities with a focus on information technology.
  • Shape, drive, and steer the methodical and ambitious growth of the subsidiary, as well as the development of the company as a whole.
  • Implement an audit-proven and efficient management process for the company after license approval from BaFin.
  • Ensure flawless operations and monitor all internal and external activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record and experience in leading companies through the build-up and implementation phase, with knowledge of required IT processes and ability to establish effective and efficient IT operational workflows.
  • Experience with complex IT projects in the regulated financial sector, with an excellent network of contacts in the industry.
  • Authentic and motivating leadership style, with transparent and direct communication, and a good sense for entrepreneurial values.
  • Proven interest in crypto assets and/or blockchain technology.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, high self-motivation, and a passion for excellence.
  • Native-level German and fluent English language skills.
