About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Managing Director for our German operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for establishing and driving the growth of our German business, with a focus on information technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an IT strategy to support the growth of our German business
  • Lead the operational management of our German activities, with a focus on information technology
  • Shape and drive the methodical and ambitious growth of our subsidiary, as well as the development of the company as a whole
  • Implement an audit-proven and efficient management process for the company
  • Ensure flawless operations and monitor all internal and external activities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a leader in the financial services industry, with experience in a BaFin-regulated bank or financial infrastructure company
  • Proven track record of leading companies through the build-up and implementation phase, with knowledge of required IT processes and ability to establish effective and efficient IT operational workflows
  • Experience with complex IT projects in the regulated financial sector, with an excellent network of contacts in the industry
  • Authentic and motivating leadership style, with transparent and direct communication
  • Proven interest in crypto assets and/or blockchain technology
  • Ability to create an infectious team spirit, with excellent negotiation skills and high self-motivation
  • Passion for excellence, with a focus on getting things done
  • Native-level German language skills and fluent English language skills
