We are on the lookout for a Senior Implementation Manager (m/f/d) to join our Global Customer Implementation Air & Sea (CI) division. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring that our large, complex clients are set up for success as they embark on their journey with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. You will oversee the comprehensive implementation process for customers, collaborating closely with our Sales and Product teams in both Airfreight and Seafreight to foster enduring relationships.

Your role transcends traditional project management; you will actively engage with customer needs, translating them into actionable plans while defining technical integrations, drafting customer-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and establishing operational frameworks for sustainable success. In addition to managing your own implementation projects, you will have the opportunity to enhance and train our CI project methodology across our global CI community.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage customer implementation initiatives within the Air & Sea sector.
  • Coordinate projects with clients and the global Hellmann network.
  • Analyze and develop customer processes, IT requirements, and documentation.
  • Create tailored operating procedures and work instructions (SOP & WI) for clients.
  • Conduct training sessions for operational teams based on the documentation produced.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop KPIs and monitoring tools to ensure successful implementation, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
  • Post-implementation, closely track the achievement of agreed KPIs and actively seek feedback for continuous improvement.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar position, demonstrating a successful track record in customer implementation projects, operational training, and continuous improvement within freight forwarding.
  • Strong knowledge of 3PL and 4PL operations, particularly in Airfreight and Seafreight.
  • Technical expertise in mapping and documenting customer requirements to IT/EDI, along with analytical skills to monitor and track various system-related KPIs.
  • Exceptional training and communication abilities, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
