We are in search of a Senior Implementation Manager (m/f/d) to join our Global Customer Implementation Air & Sea (CI) department. This pivotal position is essential for ensuring that our large and complex customers achieve success as they embark on their journey with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. You will oversee the comprehensive implementation process for customers, collaborating closely with our Sales and Product teams in both Airfreight and Seafreight to foster enduring relationships.

Your role transcends traditional project management; you will actively engage with customer needs, translating them into actionable plans while defining technical integrations, drafting customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and establishing operational frameworks for sustainable success. In addition to managing your own implementation projects, you will have the opportunity to enhance and train our CI project methodology across our global CI community.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage customer implementation projects within the Air & Sea division.
  • Coordinate project activities with customers and the global Hellmann network.
  • Analyze and develop customer processes, IT requirements, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Create tailored operating procedures and work instructions (SOP & WI) for customers.
  • Conduct training sessions for operational teams based on the developed documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to establish KPIs and monitoring tools to ensure successful implementations that meet all customer requirements.
  • After implementation, monitor the achievement of agreed KPIs and proactively seek feedback for continuous improvement.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, demonstrating a successful track record in customer implementation projects, operational training, and continuous improvement initiatives within freight forwarding.
  • In-depth understanding of 3PL and 4PL operations, particularly in Airfreight and Seafreight.
  • Technical expertise in mapping and documenting customer requirements to IT/EDI, along with analytical skills to monitor and track various system-related KPIs.
  • Exceptional training and communication abilities, capable of conveying complex information in a clear manner.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
