About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Business Development Intern to support our portfolio company's go-to-market strategies in France. As a key member of the team, you'll play a crucial role in optimising business-critical services and contributing to various projects.

Our portfolio company is a trailblazing supply chain platform that has revolutionised the way large construction material orders are sourced, distributed, and financed. With a mission to unlock the vast potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market, they provide access to high-quality construction materials at a global scale through their innovative platform.

The company's distinct competitive advantage lies in its ability to organise the supply chain through digital innovation, eliminating middlemen and embracing tech-first and AI. This creates a seamless connection between suppliers and buyers, facilitating supply and demand matching and offering a comprehensive suite of services, including cloud inventory management, fulfillment solutions, and fintech capabilities.

As a Business Development Intern, you'll be responsible for analysing market trends and the company's strategies to unlock profitable opportunities and implement Go-To-Market strategies. You'll also prospect and assist in identifying and reaching out to potential clients or partners through various channels, including email, phone calls, and social media.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing current operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintaining and organising operational documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance records
  • Communicating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues
  • Collaborating closely with the founders, Growth, and Operations teams
Your Profile

We're looking for a motivated and passionate individual who is currently enrolled in the University or a fresh graduate. You should possess excellent analytical and communication skills, be not scared of talking to clients and partners, and have excellent communication skills in French and English.

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
