At Iron Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled Desktop EUC L2 to join our team. As a Desktop EUC L2, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our desktop devices, including hardware, software, and connectivity incidents.
Responsibilities:- Manage desktop devices incidents through to resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Provide IMAC and desk-side support services, ensuring seamless user experience.
- Support end-user desktops, laptops, network printers, cell phones, and other devices, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Utilize SCCM for installation and have knowledge of AD and SNOW, ensuring efficient and effective support.
- Manage hard and soft break-fix services for laptops and desktops, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
- Provide standard and approved hardware and software support and maintenance on desktop devices for their entire lifecycle, including remote management using appropriate tools.
- Analyze Service Desk calls and incident data to identify potential user training requirements and automation opportunities.
- Ensure each desktop device is installed with the appropriate desktop image, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices, taking appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements.
- Provide VIP support for desk-side issues and be the point of contact for all IT-related issues at the site, ensuring seamless support and minimal disruption.
- Knowledge and experience with Windows 7 OS.
- Good to have: knowledge in AD and smart hands and feet support.
- Good to have: knowledge and experience of supporting MAC devices and tablets.
- Experience with Service management tool – ex – Service now.
- Should have good expertise on EUC tools, remote support tools, MS office, and outlook.
- It is preferable to have a good understanding of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.
- Should be aware of ITIL process of Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, and related activities like spare and buffer stock management.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from three-year College or technical school with an emphasis in electronics required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
