We are a leading provider of solutions and services for the paper industry, and we are looking for a dedicated student to support us in the structural design and layout of the steel structure of our paper machine hood.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support us in the structural design and layout of the steel structure of our paper machine hood.
- Be responsible for analyzing and applying relevant industry standards and guidelines for the design and dimensioning.
- Create space models and technical drawings as well as documentation.
- Carry out calculations and simulations (deflection) based on the load on the hood.
- Apply your theoretical knowledge from your studies in practice.
- Participate in project meetings and work together with various departments.
Your Profile
- You are an enrolled student in the field of engineering, mechanical engineering, design engineering, or a related field.
- You have a good knowledge of design, steel construction, or technical mechanics and materials engineering, as well as basic knowledge of relevant industry standards and guidelines.
- You also have experience with CAD software and technical drawing; knowledge of FEM analyses is an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of German or English, both written and spoken, is required.
- You impress with your independent and structured way of working and your high willingness to learn.
- Your profile is rounded off by your ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and your willingness to occasionally travel for up to one week.
