About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate - Fresh Produce. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including fresh produce, meats, dairy products, and other grocery items
  • Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  • Work collaboratively with other sales team members to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to promote products and drive sales

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or food market environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
