About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our chip development projects for high voltage Si and SiC power semiconductors in the automotive industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving projects from concept to reality, shaping the future of E-Mobility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate, plan, steer, control, and close chip development projects, including team setup, resource planning, timeline, work packages, budget planning, controlling, and documentation.
  • Conduct project activities for external chip customers across different sites, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Guide project teams from a technical perspective, providing expertise and guidance to ensure project success.
  • Manage and evaluate risks efficiently, using FMEA methods to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Plan experiments, analyze outcomes, and assess test chips and prototypes to ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
  • Consult and act as an interface to internal customers, including Application Engineering, R&D, Marketing, and production sites.
Requirements
  • A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, preferably with a PhD.
  • First relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Project management knowledge, including project initiation, planning, and closing, including reporting and documentation.
  • The ability to understand and structure complex project situations and consolidate and present those to senior management level.
  • A technical understanding of power electronic device physics, chip development, and semiconductor processing.
  • Excellent English skills to interact successfully with cross-functional teams globally, German is a plus.
