Job Summary

Infineon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the development of high voltage Si and SiC power semiconductors for automotive E-Mobility. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating, planning, steering, controlling, and closing chip development projects, including team setup, resource planning, timeline, work packages, budget planning, controlling, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Initiate, plan, steer, control, and close chip development projects in the field of high voltage Si and SiC power semiconductors for automotive E-Mobility.
  • Project Activities: Conduct project activities for external chip customers across different sites in Munich, Dresden, Villach, and Malaysia.
  • Team Guidance: Guide project teams from a technical perspective.
  • Risk Management: Manage and evaluate risks efficiently, according to FMEA methods.
  • Experiment Planning: Plan experiments, analyze outcomes, and assess test-chips and prototypes.
  • Customer Interface: Consult and act as an interface to internal customers (e.g., Application Engineering, R&D, Marketing, and production sites).

Requirements

  • Education: A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, preferably a PhD.
  • Experience: First relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Project Management Knowledge: Project management knowledge in terms of project initiation, planning, and closing, including reporting and documentation.
  • Technical Understanding: A technical understanding of power electronic device physics, chip development, and semiconductor processing.
  • Language Skills: Excellent English skills to interact successfully with cross-functional teams globally, German is a plus.
