Role Overview

The Regional Account Director will be responsible for overseeing all social media channels for a designated region. This includes developing content and channel strategies, managing campaign execution, and overseeing digital projects. A key part of the role is fostering strong relationships with clients and ensuring project deliverables meet both client expectations and internal standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Oversee all social media channels ensuring growth and high-quality execution.
  • Client Relationships: Build and sustain strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of Project Managers and Community Managers, focusing on their development and performance.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, track costs, and drive profitability while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and long-term relationship growth.

Weekly Activities:

  • Review client briefings, set priorities, and guide the team on project execution.
  • Manage budgets and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Attend internal and client meetings, providing updates on market developments.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to the EMEA Business Director
  • Manages a team within the designated market, including Project Managers and Community Managers

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Soft Skills: Empathy, team management, client communication, and stress management.
  • Hard Skills: Social media communication, budget negotiation, team leadership, and client management.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, native German.
