Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of reinsurance treaties, ensuring effective service delivery to our Italian clients.
- Conduct thorough analyses of reinsurance inquiries, focusing on risk assessment and mitigation.
- Calculate premiums and facilitate the decision-making process throughout the underwriting cycle.
- Prepare, review, and amend treaty documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor trends in both primary insurance and reinsurance markets within the region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Perform balance sheet, solvency, and KPI analyses to create tailored reinsurance solutions for clients.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as economics, mathematics, or business administration.
- Some experience in the (re)insurance or financial sector, preferably through internships.
- Fluent in English, with proficient communication skills in German and Italian.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes, approximately three to four times a year.
- A global perspective, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for enhancing our market presence.
