The Role

We are looking for a Production Team Manager to join our team in Renningen. As a Production Team Manager, you will be responsible for technical and disciplinary management of a production team of approx. 30 employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the line's specified targets in terms of productivity, capacity, and on-time delivery while adhering to quality and work standards.
  • Operational management of the production line: determining capacity requirements and allocating existing capacities.
  • Support in the efficient planning, organization, and control of production processes.
  • Ensuring a smooth process flow and continuous optimization of production processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaboration with other departments and their managers to ensure a smooth flow of information and effective cooperation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Key Qualifications:
  • Completed technical vocational training in the field of metalworking, e.g., industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, toolmaker, construction mechanic, with further training as a master craftsman or comparable qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of professional experience in production.
  • High customer orientation.
  • Team-oriented and motivating personality with strong communication skills.
  • Independent and structured way of working.
  • Assertiveness, organizational skills, and a willingness to solve problems.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in shifts.
  • Experience in using MS Office applications, ERP knowledge an advantage.
