Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Procurement Manager to join our CCU/S division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites and power plants across Europe. Your expertise in commercial project lead, contract and claim management, and supply chain management will be crucial in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial project lead to implement large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites and power plants across Europe
  • Contract and claim management, including setting up commercial specifications, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts
  • Dealing with standardized international supply contracts and national laws
  • Process link between project and E.ON's central procurement department
  • Ongoing controlling and reporting of project budgets and risk management
  • Pre-qualification of suppliers and service providers
Requirements:
  • University degree or similar with commercial background and knowledge of tendering and procurement procedures
  • Several years of experience in commercial project and contract management for process plant construction, energy industry, or related sectors
  • Strong capabilities as purchaser in challenging situations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently, and willingness to take initiative
  • Fluency in English and German, with knowledge of other languages a plus
  • User knowledge of SAP BI and SAP Materials Management, as well as MS Office skills
